Case Study: Public Sanitation Facilities

• Clients Served: Mitooma District, Mbale District, Rubirizi District, Bududa District, and more.
• The Challenge: Several districts were pressing for the construction of proper, safe and hygienic sanitation facilities not only at schools but also at health centres and town councils so that public health can be improved.
• Our Solution: In order to achieve those objectives, we collaboratively and individually each district were to build many multi-stance VIP latrines. Moreover, our means were consultation with the community, sourcing of quality materials, and application of construction techniques for the implementation of these projects on time and directly contributing to the hygiene improvement as well as the control of the spread of preventable diseases.
